Expressions of interest are invited for the 2012 state team to represent Victoria at the Australian National Dragon Boat Championships in Canberra. State training dates and times have also been set.
To represent the Big V, you must come and register and train in the state squad on a regular basis
Team Captains and coaches will be assigned by the State Coach – Serghei Cucsa
The invitation is open to all Victorian registered paddlers, let us show that Victoria can perform at the highest level of competition in Australia.
Note, if your club is not going to the national champs, and you've never paddled at a national championships before, you qualify to join a team from Victoria that is going (you dont have to leave your current team!) and paddle with them for the other 4 days of racing.
You'll be involved in the biggest Dragon Boat regatta in Australia, you'll meet a lot of new people and clubs, and finish it all off with big party at the end.
