Every Wednesday Night 6:15pm until the 31st of January


Fitness test for Victorian team 2012

Introduction – Fitness test will be conducted by team coaches till 31 of January.

Content of Fitness test - 4 exercises – Run, Push ups, Sit ups, Upright row/Snatch.

Score – the point system is used in the fitness test. All athletes will have to collect as many points as they can. 

There are different criteria for each of categories:

GDD – can choose and have to do 2 exercises;

GM – can choose and must do 3 exercises from 4;

Masters –  must do 4 exercises but the total score will be calculated from 3 best results only;

Premier -   must do 4 exercises;

Team of referees – team coach, sweeps, drummers and volunteers

Exercises description

Run – 1000m

Push ups –  2 minutes

Sit ups – 2 minutes

Weights – Premier, Masters  – Men-20 kg, W omen – 15 kg; GM and GDD –Men – 18, Women –12 kg
